a picturesque scene of dusk cracking along the sea shore is something that one usually dreams of viewing atleast once in their lifetime. And the moon that soon ponders and captures the sky symbolises that everything has an end, so does a day. but something that makes me feel estatic is the moonlight that shines throughout the night. why is it so? is it because it symbolises that there is warmth even in the midst of utmost darkness or that there's always a ray of light shining upon you through the coldest nights. I'd sometimes feel both and mostly none.
there were songs written about the moonlight, movies were shot right in its presence, but none could capture nor express the ethereal beauty that lies within this heavenly body or the warmth and light that it provides. the moon's surface has barren, craters, dead volcanoes and other factors which make this heavenly body appear flawed on the outside. But such a heavenly body still has the capability to be that source of light which is primarily known for its beautiful yet magnificent appearance. the moonlight has been a symbolic source for romance, lust and love but why are the silent cries and the hidden tears left aside? what about those mourning souls who find warmth in nothing but the moonlight. surely the moonlight is not just a source of light but has a lot more to it which can never be expressed properly but only be felt. so the next time you feel nothing, the answer doesn't lie anywhere but in the night sky under the moonlight which is captivating enough for one to get lost in their own thoughts even in busiest crowds or within the lonliest clouds.
( there is no perfect ending for anything, so is the same for this flawed piece of art that once made my heart ache but now flutter. )
